The Agenda Reset Every Leader Needs

Your calendar tells a story. Is it the one you want to live?
This week, I had a client conversation that stuck with me.
It was about something we all face - especially those of us leading teams, building businesses, and juggling big visions:
đIs my daily agenda aligned with the life I actually want?
Or is it filled with what everyone else wants from me?
It's easy to fall into reactive mode - especially for high-performing leaders. The team needs you. The clients call. The inbox overflows. Before you know it, days go by without touching the work that really moves the needle for you.
But the truth is, even a small realignment - just a few degrees - can change your entire trajectory.
So, let's pause for a second.
Here are four questions to help you reclaim your agenda and reset with intention:
đ§The Vision
If I could wave a magic wand, what would my ideal day look like - from waking up to winding down?
đThe Boundaries
If I'm going to make my life the way I want it, what boundaries need to be in place non-negotiably?
đŤThe Distractions
What distractions am I still allowing to steal time, energy, and momentum from what really matters?
đThe Celebrations
If I were fully in charge of my time and results, what would I celebrate more - and how would I do it?
High-performance leaders don't just manage time. They own their agenda.
Start by answering just one of these questions today.
Because when your calendar reflects your vision - not someone else's - you unlock clarity, focus, and energy that's hard to beat.
Your agenda is yours to reclaim. Let's make it count.
â¨If this resonates, and you're ready to get intentional about your vision, goals, and how you show up daily = join us in The Collective.
In Month 1, we'll unpack this fully - helping you build a rhythm that aligns with where you're going and who you're becoming.
It's your time to reclaim your agenda and walk toward the future you've been working so hard for - with support, clarity, and a strategy that fits you.
Doors are open for founding members but not for long. Let's get you on the path to that next-level life and leadership.
To the agenda that moves you forward,

Spring Reset: A Science-Backed Way to Refresh Your Mind and Body
As the seasons shift and daylight stretches longer, our biology get a nudge to shift too. Spring isn't just a metaphor for new beginnings - it brings real changes in light exposure, circadian rhythm, mood, and even our metabolism. Here's how to reset with intention.
đSync with Sunlight
Natural light is the strongest cue for your circadian rhythm - the internal clock that regulates sleep, energy, and hormones.
Science shows: Morning light exposure (within the first 1-2 hours of waking) has been shown to increase altertness, boost serotonin, and improve sleep quality at night. (Rommelfanger, 2021, Chronobiology International)
Reset tip: Step outside for 10-15 minutes in the morning. This signals your brain to "wake up".
đ§Move, but Don't Overhaul
Moderate physical activity improves mood, cognitive function, and immunity - all of what can dip during the colder months.
Science shows: Regular movement increases brain-derived neurotrophic factor, which supports mood regulation and memory. (Journal of Neuroscience, 2014)
Reset tip: Don't feel pressured to launch a new fitness regime. Add in a 20-minute walk after lunch, or gentle mobility in the morning. The goal is consistency, not intensity.
đĽŹShift Towards Seasonal Foods
Your digestive system and microbiome shift with the seasons too.
Science shows: Seasonal eating may support microbial diversity in the gut, which is linked to better digestion, metabolism, and immune function. (Cell, 2018)
Reset tip: Think spring produce - arugula, radishes, asparagus, peas, strawberries. Try incorporating one seasonal veggie per day, raw or lightly cooked.
đ§ Mind Declutter > Closet Declutter
Cognitive overload is real, and it affects our ability to focus, sleep, and feel at ease.
Science shows: Mental clutter increases perceived stress and reduces working memory capacity. (Cognition and Emotion, 2011)
Reset tip: Set a 5-minute timer and do a "mental unload" on paper. List every open loop in your brain - tasks, worries, decisions - no judgement. Getting it out of your head clears space to be more present.
Spring doesn't require a reinvention - just a realignment. Use this season as a gentle invitation to reconnect with your biology, nourish yourself simply, and set a rhythm that supports sustainable energy.
