Happy New Year!
We're going all in on boldness for you this year!  2025 is about challenging the status quo, keeping it real, and helping you get real results.  This is your year to have a tribe that has your back, supports your vision, and pushes you to lead smarter and live better.
As we step into 2025, I hope you had time to reflect, recharge, and celebrate all the wins - big and small - from last year.  Now, it's time to set our sights forward and get after what matters most.
This year is about momentum, growth, and modern leadership - the kind of leadership that creates real impact.  Whether you're leading a team, scaling your business, or leveling up personally, the energy of a new year is the perfect time to take bold steps forward.
Why Modern Leadership Can't Wait
Exceptional leadership isn't optional anymore - it's the competitive edge you need to thrive.  In a world full of distractions, your team is looking to you for clarity, purpose, and direction.  They want to be inspired, to feel connected to something bigger than themselves, and to know their work matters.
Without strong coaches and leaders in your organization, cracks will form - and cracks lead to collapse.  Modern leadership is about more than checking boxes.  It's about creating cultures that energize, innovate, and push boundaries.  It's about having the awareness to see opportunities others miss and the courage to challenge the status quo.
Keeping it Real
We're all about real strategies, real talk, and real results.  Leadership today isn't about outdated playbooks- it's about solving real problems and finding solutions that make a difference.  It's about having more fun, enlisting the right people, and breaking free from what's always been done - because we all deserve better.
What's Ahead
We're excited to start sharing topics next week that dive deeper into these ideas - starting with strategies to build a team that has real substance and uncover whether you have gold right under your feet.  We'll also explore more wellness topics to give you the fuel you need to champion those big missions of yours.
What's Your Vision for 2025?
Now is the time to set the tone for the year ahead.  What do you want more of?  What do you want less of?  What habits and strategies will set you apart and create the momentum you need?
If you're ready to take your goals to the next level, I'm here to help.  Let's make 2025 the year we lead smarter, live better, and build lasting success.
Wishing you an incredible start to the year, Amy and Jenn.

Setting the Tone for 2025: The Power of Personal Wellness in Leadership

As we embark on a new year, it's the perfect time to reflect on how we can set the right tone for 2025.  Whether you're leading a team, a company, or a community, how you show up in your own life profoundly impacts the way you lead others.  The foundation of effective leadership doesn't just lie in strategy, vision, or expertise; it also depends on how well you take care of yourself, your mind, and your body.  Your personal wellness is the secret weapon for becoming a strong, resilient leader who inspires others to reach their full potential.
The Connection Between Personal Wellness and Leadership
The demands of leadership can be overwhelming - balancing decisions, managing teams, and driving progress.  But, a leader's energy, mood, and ability to manage stress are deeply influenced by their personal well-being.  When you prioritize your physical and mental health, you're better equipped to handle the pressures that come with leadership.  Wellness becomes the foundation that enables you to be at your best self - your most focused, compassionate, and driven version.
Research shows that leaders who invest in their wellness tend to make better decisions, and foster more productive and harmonious work environments.  By showing others that taking care of yourself is not just a luxury, but a necessity, you set an example for your team, creating a culture of health and well-being that can reverberate throughout your organizations.
Leading by Example: Wellness as a Leadership Model
As we step into 2025, it's essential to recognize that personal wellness is not a personal indulgence, but a key leadership trait.  Leaders who embrace wellness demonstrate their commitment to themselves, their teams, and their broader mission.  By creating habits of self-care, setting boundaries, and prioritizing mental and physical health, you become an inspiring figure for your team.
You can't pour from an empty cup.  By investing in your own well-being, you show your team that self-care is vital for sustained success.

At some point, the business needs you to lead differently than what got you here.
When I stepped into the President role, I thought I understood what the responsibility would require. I had spent years inside the business, starting as a retail and marketing specialist and growing through multiple leadership roles to SVP. I knew how the business worked. I knew the people. I knew how to carry responsibility. What I hadn’t fully grasped was how much I would need to change. The ...
A quick note about the Pulse
I want to share something with you about this space, about The Pulse. In a world where I’m constantly told to write shorter captions, be more edgy, create more scroll-stopping hooks, and chase attention on social media…this is not that space. And that’s intentional. I believe part of what’s happening in our businesses and on our teams right now is that we’re losing perspective in all the noise....

Hi friends, It's only two full weeks into the new year, and for many people, things already feel full. Some of that fullness is exciting and motivating.New ideas. Momentum.  Building what's next. And some of it feels like you never quite get to put things down. Not busy in the "wow, I'm getting so much done" way, but full in the too many things pulling at you at once way. The kind of full where...
